About Me:

 

Hello! My name is Gergen (jur·gn). I appreciate your wanting to know a little about me. 

I was raised in the Puget Sound region of Western Washington, between Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and up the Peninsula. It was a beautiful place to grow up and live - the Pacific Northwest will always hold a dear spot in my heart. I met and married my beautiful Bride, Donna, in Tacoma. We started and raised our family in DuPont, a city neighboring our Best and Bravest serving at Joint Base Lewis McChord. I started my real estate career there at John L Scott DuPont in 2012. By the next year, I was blessed to become a co-owner of that same DuPont office. We have since grown to 4 John L Scott franchise offices and 80+ awesome agents, staff, and leaders.

 

Two years ago, my wife, family, and I visited Arizona for the first time and simply fell in love. We were captivated by the sunshine, energy and vibrant growth. Everything felt...right. We all learned and grew accustomed to more virtual ways of working and connecting through the pandemic. With that new perspective, we realized we love what we have built in Washington and can continue to celebrate and contribute, but it was time for our next chapter...

 

...Moving to Arizona. First, if you're relocating, I have some great tips to make your move and new home a smoother experience. Next, since calling Arizona home, we have learned and grown so much. From hikes, lakes, sports (yes, pickle-ball is growing crazy), entertainment, all levels of dining and more, the Valley always has something new (and Old West) to offer.

 

Living in Arizona, I wanted to work with a brokerage that felt like our John L Scott Talent Group. Our tribe in Washington will always be there, but I needed to find a complement here. I found that with ProSmart Realty. Founded over 15 years ago in a small Gilbert office space, ProSmart is Arizona. With a focus on relationships, care, and professionalism, I joined a family of over 200 awesome Pros that live and breathe the Valley and it's vitality.

 

Along with the fantastic support at ProSmart and John L Scott, I'm a RENI Master Certified Negotiation Expert and NAR Certified Military Relocation Professional, At Home with Diversity Professional and ePro. Relocation has always been an area of focus for me as a Leading Real Estate Companies of the World relocation agent at John L Scott. I have extensive experience in new construction (buyer and builder representation), resale, investment, land, and luxury. Additionally, personal growth, leadership, and assisting others led me to becoming a Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team.
